The Department of Justice and Correctional Services regularly hosts or partners in various justice-related events and symposiums. This section provides a description of the key gatherings the Department has been involved in, where individuals from inside and outside of the Cree Nation are brought together to discuss and reflect on issues, such as family violence and youth engagement. The Department strongly believes in these events as a way to mobilize a unified effort to create the conditions for a safe and prosperous Cree Nation.
